Choosing the Correct Gauge:
  • Every analog pressure gauge has its "sweet spot"; a pressure range where it is most accurate, usually in the middle range of the gauge. Therefore analog gauges are manufactured in several ranges to allow the user to select the gauge appropriate for the tire pressure he or she commonly uses.
  • If you run pressures between: 1 to 11 psi - Select a gauge with a range of 0 to 15 psi
  • If you run pressures between: 9 to 21 psi - Select a gauge with a range of 0 to 30 psi
  • If you run pressures between: 18 to 45 psi - Select a gauge with a range of 0 to 60 psi
  • If you run pressures between: 30 to 75 psi - Select a gauge with a range of 0 to 100 psi
  • *If the pressure you run falls in two ranges above, select the gauge with the lower range.
