If you purchased your SmarTire system or sensors from us you can borrow a "loaner" LF Initiator from us. This requires a deposit of $99 which will be refunded if the tool is returned within 30 days. If the tool is not returned your credit card will be charged the current selling price of the tool found at LF Initiator minus the deposit amount.
The LF Initiator is a programming tool used to provoke a "Learn" transmission from a SmarTire high pressure sensor. This tool must be used when adding/replacing new high pressure sensors to your SmarTire tire pressure monitoring system. This tool is not required for low pressure sensors.
NOTE: This loaner program is only offered to those who have purchased a SmarTire system that contained high pressure sensors or replacement high pressure sensors from Vulcan Tire Sales.
