Axle Transmitter Kit
The SmarTire Axle Transmitter Kit comes with two transmitters giving the driver the ability to monitor two additional tires. This kit is perfect those who wish to monitor all six tires on a dual-wheeled pickup truck or to monitor the tires on a single-axle trailer or even monitor your spare tire. It is highly recommended you purchase the SmarTire Trailer Voice System if you wish to monitor the tires of a trailer.
- Important notes for the Axle Transmitter Kit:
- A Full Function display is required to monitor more than 4 tires.
Please note that the SmartTire Basic Display System receiver is designed to work with wheel transmitters located up to 30 feet away. When using this system to monitor trailer tires, be sure your trailer axle is within 30 feet of the display/receiver unit. It is highly recommended you purchase the SmarTire Trailer Voice System if you wish to monitor the tires of a trailer.
- Be advised when monitoring a spare tire, that tires need to be rolling (rotating) in order for the system to function as it was intended. You will however, receive a warning if and when your spare tire's pressure drops below 18 Psi. You must have a Full Function Display to monitor your spare tire(s).
