Mastercraft Courser MSR - STUDDED 265/65R17 112S

THIS TIRE COMES WITH METAL STUDS INSTALLED FOR THE ULTIMATE IN SNOW AND ICE TRACTION!
Don't want studs? Click here for the unstudded version.

High Traction Tread Design
The intricate tread pattern balances inter traction and a smooth, quiet ride. The deep lateral and notched circumferential grooves provide excellent evacuation of water and slush from the tread contact patch.

Patented “Snow Groove” Design Technology
Provides biting edges for excellent snow and ice traction without reducing element stiffness. The snow groove enhances the retention of snow in the outer circumferential grooves to capitalize on the higher traction characteristics of “snow on snow” versus “snow on rubber”.

Available in Blackwall (BW) and Outlined White Letters (OWL) sidewall styles.

NOTE: Due to the extreme traction characteristics if this tire with studs installed, it is recommended that tires be mounted in sets of four to provide the best tire performance and safety.

This is the 2nd set of these for different 4X4's. This tire gets traction in snow just as good as tank tracks. Unless the snow is really deep I can leave the truck in 2wd. The Mastercraft Courser MSR is the most capable dedicated snow tire made!

I've used these tires (studded) for over a decade, for my snow plowing business in the winter. I have purchased fourteen of these tires. They are economical and provide the service I need. I sometimes run them with chains on. I expect to buy more as the studs wear out and get pulled out. I really like them, and do not consider any other tire. Great traction on snow and ice.

If you absolutely positively must go out in snow and ice, you need these tires on all 4 wheels. Had no problems going anywhere in all the storms of winter 2013-2014. Went through 2 ft. of drifting snow doing delivery work. Great tires I would recommend to anyone!
